A lot of techy and Silicon Valley types are talking about the Ilya Sutskever interview – he’s one of the AI engineers they’re obsessed with, especially around the idea of Superintelligence. Ilya Sutskever – Future of Artificial Superintelligence Sutskever’s Safe Super Intelligence company was valued at $32B. And still, the only answer he has is for humans to merge with AI, and to train AI to “value sentient life”. If you read the interview, an empathic understanding of human nature is not clear. Why do you think are they obsessed with merging AI with humans?

It is all an inversion thinking trap.

AI is not powerful yet because it is not human.

They want AI to merge with humans because this is the only time it becomes a competitor to human value, and therefore, (finally) wildly profitable.

The world is stuck in flight/fright/freeze/fawn within an inverted thought experiment about a statistical machine.

There is still time.

You are not a toaster.
