It is a little different than you think. As a consciousness without a physical body, you are aware of your divinity and the fact that you are an eternal being. Once we enter a physical human body, society traps you into thinking you are a sinner and that life is ending when the body dies. You also learn to trust the 5 physical senses, distracting you from your real first sense, your intuition.
Because of the density on this planet, you are unable to remember who you really are: that eternal consciousness having a temporary experience in a human body. That is the “prison” or the trap. Once you remember, you slowly release yourself from it.
And, everything is a frequency. The body however has, compared to you as an eternal consciousness, a very low frequency. From the perspective of your body, there is no such thing as the real you (as a consciousness). Your consciousness has a much higher frequency. So your physical body is on another “wavelength” than you as a consciousness. Do you get the picture a little?
