To me its like equivalent of when the calculator was invented people saying it will replace us. AI is not Intelligent at all, I use it every day for work and help to create LLM’s it is just a library of references an AI cannot create only copy/search/find it is no sentient and they are already having issues with recursive loops getting intelligence above 120IQ, the MORE AI content posted the less quality of input into the AI also so it is a negative feedback loop, as the saying goes “Poop in, Poop out”. I have a feeling this huge AI financing bubble to try and save the economy is what is going to blow it up when that debt comes knocking, similar to the dotcom bubble. AI will do lots of things and make a lot of jobs obsolete but its a tool and these morons in charge think its going to control us all, when you centralize control/power it always fails.
