Not sure of the motives. Once the hostages are free there is nothing stopping complete destruction. However, hopefully this would not play well with world opinion, not that Israel can claw that back anyway.

I think Trump realizes he is losing his base and needs to at least attempt to conclude it. And I personally dont think he wants war with Iran, but time will tell. Its the EU that needs war, cant afford to stop bringing illegals and cant afford to stop the war, but losing their political base over both and censorship is making the right more of an opposition too. Kinda Cooked either way.

The eternal optimist in me really wants to believe that the motives behind it are genuine.  However, knowing the end game I can’t see any ceasefire lasting long and I’m trying to figure out which piece on the board will be played next. I don’t think Israel care what the world opinion of them is other than in the sense that world opinion can slow down the expansion they so clearly want.  When it comes to Gaza the realist in me will look at any announcement of ceasefire/peace with a great deal of scepticism and I’ll always be waiting for the next move.

Sadly I think it is all theater! As Gareth so rightly points out it is false flag season.  Public opinion is definitely growing against Israel, which is going ahead as planned.  Trump and his MAGA mobs involvement in the whole business is sickening.  He has to appear to regain control of a narrative that has gone beyond the point of no return. What about the hijacking of the Aid Ships intercepted in International waters by the Israeli Military? They want Gaza for their own ends and couldn’t care less what happens to the Palestinians or the rest of the Middle East for that matter. Interesting I had a dream last night involving Trump and Bibi, can’t remember all the details but they were hand in hand cooking up some scheme, as I watched there was some sort of destruction going on.  They were seen so their tracks cannot be covered up.

Rhondda your comment “Public opinion is definitely growing against Israel, which is going ahead as planned.” has made me rethink my own comment about Israel not caring what world opinion of them is.  Of course they care, the ‘prophecy’ is that the nations will rise against Israel so they want that to happen, they want public opinion to turn against them. As always though they have to make themselves appear to be the victims and at the moment public opinion definitely doesn’t see them in that way. If they agree to a ceasefire ‘in good faith’ and something akin to Oct 7th (or worse) was to happen then they can try to spin it again as ‘oh look what they did to us well what choice to we have now, we have to defend ourselves’.  It’s a never ending circle. 

Or as Vivlav67 pointed out “Once the hostages are free there is nothing stopping complete destruction.” It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if we have a ceasefire deal, the hostages are released and then there is a red flag event which starts the whole process again.  In their eyes they will be the victims but public opinion will still in the end turn against them. You’re completely right – it is all theatre!

I agree that public opinion is definitely growing against Israel (hence the announcement)… actually I’m surprised it took so long for public opinion to  go against these genocidal maniacs. I also agree that it’s theatre and that there will soon be another false flag event to try to sway opinion in Israel’s favour again.

I agree with everything said so far.  Bibi went rogue years ago.  These “peace talks” are a charade as far as I’m concerned and I’m certain that once Israel have their hostages back that they will just continue from where they left off.  The fact that Tony Blair is on the “Board of Peace” says everything about how they love to mock everyone, especially the Muslims.  It’s trolling of the highest political order!

Also, Trump, bless him, seems to believe that he’ll get a Nobel Peace Prize for his part in all of this.  Unfortunately, because everything is inverted, Bibi is far more likely to get the prize than he is!

From the beginning something didn’t feel right both about October 7th and Hamas’ role.  I fear both Hamas and Israel are working together on this – why would Netanyahu brag about having funded them? Somehow Hamas  conned the Palestinians into voting them in because the PA were already compromised and possibly some members were Israeli puppets.  Whatever happens, whatever is rebuilt, it will be on the freshly crushed bones of Palestinians.  I wouldn’t be surprised if after this ‘deal’ Hamas or some other group pops up in the West Bank and the same thing happens there.  It’s as if there are army of human drones who pop up in the middle East and all over the world causing havoc which then leads to bombing and western intervention.  Maybe Prof  Jiang is right, the CIA have created these ‘human drones’ in prison camps through torture and humiliation and  can now activate them at their will.  Having followed this situation since 1985 and attended talks or heard speeches in person by John Pilger, Tony Benn, Noam Chomsky, Edward Said  about this issue, it was evident that a two state solution was a smoke screen.  You can only have one state for everyone and all equal in it.   That is never going to happen.  I do actually feel quite sick.  At least the ICKONIC team and certainly David Icke have remained constant and steadfast in their perspective on this, for that I’m grateful.

I believe the “peace talks” are to appease the growing number of people against this genocide – both Israelis and Americans. Trump is looking bad as he ran on the platform of bringing peace to the world – Ha! Then he changes the Dept. of Defense to the Dept. of War. 

My question is, How do they plan to dispose of all the rubble and ruined buildings in Palestine and who is going to do it? 

As we see, Israel continues to bomb Gaza even throughout the “peace talks” proving what sadistic psychopaths these “leaders” are in Israel. The IDF must be full of psychopaths, sociopaths, and mentally ill people so twisted and brainwashed as to defy normal life and all conscience has been erased – mind controlled probably until there is nothing left but a shell of a person.

Why do we continue to allow psychopathic killers to lead our countries? Are people so blind, so mind controlled and brainwashed, so complacent and uncaring? It’s scary to see what is going on everywhere. When are people going to say, ENOUGH!

Whatever the end game ,great to see hostages being released on both sides.Trump will get some street cred back from his fan base some of who were beginning to see through the pantomime.However, this move will only serve to delay the inevitable goal of the greater israeli project.Watch this space .
