Ickonic and Archaix: Separating the Fictions From the Facts

If you are lucky enough not to have seen it yet, Jason Breshears of Archaix recently attempted a hit piece against David on youtube – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1Fv-LDhWPY

In a mostly incoherent rant he makes a serious allegation that David silently updated The Trigger in 2021 to include a paragraph about Covid, then later used the rewrite to claim he had predicted Covid in 2019 when the Trigger was released, even down to the virus name.  He says that the update generated a new ISBN number for the book and he gives both for proof (the original from 2019 and the alleged new updated version). Bothering to fact check the ISBN’s exposes this for the ridiculous smear that it is.  The first ISBN given actually relates to The Answer which came out AFTER Covid, so naturally has references to it.  The second is a fake ISBN number that has no match, and to add the hilarity the page number he gives doesn’t even reference Covid in either book!  He also fails to reference where David allegedly claimed to have predicted and named the virus.  Given that David has been consistent since day 1 that there is no virus, it would be quite a reversal if he suddenly accepted it! 🙂 I know David has thick skin and probably won’t care, but if anyone else sees the video and is tempted to watch my advice is use the 1.5 hours for something more productive.

I understand your point of view ….

to check this in complete – no matter of the exact ISBN Numbers – it would be interesting to have a 2021 Version of the Trigger – to compare it – bit by bit with the original 2019 Version,
which stands on my shelf in my living room 😉

this would be question Nr 1 for me …

does anyone have the Trigger 2021 Version? and can check this and then maybe post some Photos of the differences on Telegram or so? would be great – Thank you

I did watch the archaix episode you mention. I’ve consumed a fair bit of Jason’s content over the years despite having to with stand vast amounts of time where he says nothing of consequence while putting his huge ego on full display. I always found his work interesting when he actually got to the point. I’m actually grateful that I saw this attempted hit piece, because although I couldn’t discount all of his claims with my knowledge it was blatantly obvious that the majority of what he was saying was complete nonsense!! So, as said, I’m grateful I now know not to waste any more time listening to someone who spouts such nonsense. So thanks Jason no more Archaix for me.

From what I can determine there is no 2021 version of the Trigger, just the 2019 original.  Happy to be corrected if anyone knows better. Jason seems to have given the ISBN of The Answer instead which obviously is a completely different book.

Agreed Glen, I watched because I have enjoyed some of Jason’s content in the past and wanted to at least hear him out.  But this just makes me question the validity of anything he has ever said now.

Like you I will avoid his content going forward which given that he churns out multiple 2+ hour videos a week will save a lot of time!

so – I also have not found, that there would be an update version to the trigger of 2021 – maybe there would be one – but I have found noone – and I also think 
there is no one – and it might be a waste of time to invest time in this Archenix 😉
