Hi Winni,

whow, I didn´t know that there are so many cashless companies in the UK! I am speechless.

Here in Germany I just know, that you can´t pay cash at the airport for a flight and also in busses and trains it s getting more and more complicated to pay cash, but it is still possible. 

But I live in a very rural area, don´t go to many shops, cafes, theatres and so on. Perhaps in the cities it s like in the UK, I don´t know. I had a discussion with my bank about this point and they told me, that the plan to abolish cash is “in the drawer” already.

We were always told, that “the Germans love their cash”. Let s see, how strong this love really is…
